Who is covered?
The insurance applies to individuals registered by the municipality, for example:
- Children in preschool
- Students in primary or secondary school
- Participants in other municipal activities

When does the insurance apply?
Your municipality decides which type of coverage applies:

Coverage may vary between municipalities.
Where does the insurance apply?
The insurance applies within the Nordics and during temporary stays outside the Nordics (for example, school trips or internships).
What is considered an accident?
An accident is a sudden and involuntary event that causes physical injury.
Examples include falls, collisions, knee twists, insect bites, frostbite, or heatstroke.
A medical assessment and the insurance terms and conditions will always determine whether a claim is covered.
What can you receive compensation for?
If your claim is covered, you may receive compensation for, for example:
- Medical care and treatment
- Rehabilitation and support
- Long-term effects
- Support following serious events
Important to know
- The insurance is free of charge for the insured
- No deductible applies
- The injury must usually have required medical attention
- Each claim is assessed according to the insurance terms and conditions
